Volunteers are always welcome to help care for the variety of animals at the Sanctuary, from the large – Roxy & Solista the horses – to the small - Stevie the tiny Brahma chick. Volunteering at Earth Angels is a special event - for both you, and for the animals who can't wait to meet you!
There are lots of choices when it comes to volunteering. There's plenty of cleaning, grooming and a long list of odd handy jobs. Volunteering help with fundraising is high on our list of priorities.
FUNDRAISING
Like most small charities the Sanctuary runs on an extremely tight budget to say the least. We do constantly need people to raise funds for the animals here. If you could organize an event in your area,a coffee morning, a street collection, a yard sale to help with our funding that would be a fantastic help. Thank you.
WWOOFERS: WORK-EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Earth Angels Sanctuary has benefited greatly from the Woofer program over the last two years. World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms, USA (WWOOF-USA) is part of a world-wide effort to link volunteers with organic farmers, promote an educational exchange, and build a global community conscious of ecological farming practices.
Woofers work 20-25 hours per week in exchange for accommodation, food, and a first-hand experience in the Sanctuary.
