Earth Angels Animal Sanctuary and other Animal Rescues are in dire need of your support. Thousands of People and Animals are being Evacuated from their homes due to the fire in Los Angelos County. Sept 1st the Big Tujunga Fire is about 20% contained.
EAAS has a team of Volunteers with Trailors to transport animals to areas that are far from the threat of fire such as our Ranch in Cuyama Valley. We have a relay set up, where the animals are moved to a safe area and then another team transports them to a safe place where they will be able to stay for months.
The way the public can help, is buy making a donation through donate now. The funds will help pay for fuel and food for volunteers and the animals.
If you are out of the fire danger and have land and pens where we can take animals please call cell phone 702-496-8525. Please not most of these animals their owners want to keep. Some of the animals however are running around aimlesssly and are being caught. The animals must be held until the crisis is calmed down and people are able to contact the different rescues to locate their pet.
This is EAAS 6th time having worked in this type of emergency in the last 5 years. We are pretty seasoned with this type of emergency. However we are not governement funded. We operate off of donations from people who love animals like you. .
We just adopted this mare who was rescued about a month ago. One of the problems we are facing now is rescuing the rescues. This is terrible a horse should never be found in this shape. EAAS was luck we were able to help since Mahiwo sold his Harley and had some money to contribute. It is costing a bit of money to rescue this mare and 1 other who both have to have health inspections and are costing us $15. a day Board until the health certificate arrives.
EAAS is in desperate need of horse panels and material to make a stall to shelter the horse. Both mares are said to be pregnant

We are trying to find foster homes for some of these animals. Our budget is getting very low and yet we are constantly being asked for help that we are not able to handle. If you are not able to be a foster home maybe you can become a donating member. Thank you Mahiwo
